Hell's Kitchen Returns Tonight!

I just thought I'd add to the list of TV announcements this week.

Hell's Kitchen

I'm debating on this one.

It's not about food and skill so much as ***bleeps*** and being chased around the kitchen by a lobster-faced chef.

Plus after watching The F Word and Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares on BBCA, I know what Gordon is really like and that the Ramsay on HK is a character he plays for the cameras.

He has a temper but not nearly as bad as it's portrayed on HK.

I kinda want to see the British HK since they replaced Ramsay with Marco Pierre White who is a genius chef and really does have a nasty temper and is famous for making Ramsay cry. I saw that on Ramsays Boiling Point and apparently White published a picture of a cowering teary Ramsay huddled in a corner in one of his books.

I'm curious if that show is also all about the temper too.

That was very bad.

And why wouldn't they let a short order cook do eggs? Gordon liked her chicken so she can cook and she can cook fast which is what they need.

I dunno if I'll watch again. I didn't see anything worthwhile there.

I watch it. I will admit to it. I don't know why I watch it. Isn't it the same show every year, but with different faces? I just think it would be nice if we could learn something from the show. Not how to make people feel like s*it, but how to cook. How a real restaurant kitchen works, how do they know what food to order, what staples do they keep on hand, so many things that I don't think they cover. I know it is just a contest, but I would still like to learn something

I watch every season. The crying Asian guy won't last long at all...I think he would have been gone last night had the blue team lost. He reminded me of Dewberry from 2 seasons ago. I will be glad to see Joanna leave but with my luck she'll be there till the end.

How the he!! did Rock stay in after serving Ramsay frozen gnocchi????? I must have missed something because I didn't see the lying or backstabbing. What I thought was so incredibly juvenile was the fact that the women openly excluded Julia, and I feel like it was pure jealousy because Ramsay had nice things to say about her dish. But then she acted like a baby and cried about it...I expected her to stamp her foot and scream, "They won't let me play!! It's not fair!!!" And Bonnie started to cry...I'm surprised Ramsay didn't say something about drowning in an estrogen ocean.

Oh my gosh... all the crying!

I dunno. We were planning to watch this as filler for the summer, but last night's episode was pretty bad. Last year I thought Heather stuck out right away, this year...? Chef Ramsay seemed a little tamer to me as well. We'll watch next week for sure and then we'll judge from there.
