Thumbs up Review: Lamb shanks on cannellini beans

Another good dish, but make sure you leave plenty of time to make it!

It's actually quite an easy recipe from a technical perspective, it just takes about 3 hours including prep time.

I would definitely recommend adding some salt to the beans as well as the finished sauce. How much is up to your own taste. As written, the only salt in the recipe is the 1/2 teaspoon you sprinkle on the lamb at the very start.

Hey, Ralph,
Thanks for the review- I had this on my list of must-try recipes from last month. I noticed the long cooking time, so I had to juggle it.
I am happy to know it is yummy!

We made this at my Supper Club dinner last weekend and it was a surprise hit. Those that weren't particularly crazy about lamb thought the meat tasted more like beef than anything else. It was a hearty, robust dinner! Can't wait to make it again this winter when the cold weather arrives.
