Talking JeAnne's Meatball Shepherd's Pie

OMG, this is sooooooooo good!!

Here's the old thread:

http://community.cookinglight.com/sh...ht=dangerously

It wouldn't let me post to the old thread, but I wanted to bring it up, since it's cold-weather, comfort-food time.

This was really, really excellent. DH asked me if it was hard to make, because he wants it often. I've had it printed out for a year and half, and finally got around to making it. DH wanted to know why I'd been holding out on him so long!

Would this serve 6-8 for lunch?

Hi - I'm thinking of having some friends to lunch in December and serving this but wonder if it will feed 6-8 people for lunch or should I double it? I LOVE Shepherd's pie; thanks for reposting this!

Hmmm. 6 to 8? I'm not sure. What else are you serving? If you're serving a whole bunch of other stuff, then you might be ok. But DH and I made a pretty good dent in it by ourselves (granted, we weren't really having anything else). I think I would double-it though. I tend to err on the "better safe, than sorry" side. And besides, then you'll have leftovers.
