    Cleaning ceramic top stove

I boiled rice over on the burner and made a real mess. Any ideas for cleanup. I've tried the SoftScrub and a Ceramic cleaner. I've also tried using a hard plastic scraper...Still have a pretty good size burn spot.

I use vinegar or lemon juice sprinkled with baking soda. It requires some elbow grease, but usually does the trick.

    Use a single-edged razor.

I frequently boil rice or oatmeal over the side of my pots.

I use baking soda and it seems to work well. I have a black cook top so I have to rinse it a lot to get all of the baking soda residue gone.
    Go for it!

I use a product called Cerama Bryte that I got at Home Depot. You use it with little sponge-like wipes. It works great for me.

Any of those should work.... AFTER you use the single-edge razor! Get a paint scraper handle to hold it, and keep it (closed) in your utility drawer for problems like this! It really works!
