Question HELP! After using a fire extinguisher...

How should I clean my oven?
I had baguette slices under the broiler getting them ready for this evening's appetizers ... when the phone rang and I got distracted talking with one of the guests.
So...I came back in to find flames shooting out of my oven!!! OMG - DH and I were hopping around trying to figure out what to do. He grabbed the fire extinguisher, which we have never used, and after reading the instructions promptly blasted it into the oven.
Ok - fire is out. Now I have a big mess!!!! How best to clean this up so I can use my oven before guests arrive???
    HELP!
    Lynne

I Googled your problem, and since I don't know what kind of extinguisher, it may be easier to just Google yourself and read the relevant info.

    Here is one tip:

    7. How do I clean up the extinguisher agent after using a fire extinguisher?

Sweep/vacuum up as much of the powder as possible. Then use a damp cloth to wipe up the remaining residue.
